Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, Spain. February 26, 2013 — RACO Wireless, today announced that it has reached an agreement with Sprint that will allow RACO’s customers access to Sprint’s nationwide CDMA and LTE networks. This agreement enables providers of M2M solutions to expand their choice of available network carriers and technologies.
RACO Wireless is a provider of wireless data solutions to the machine-to-machine (M2M) industry. RACO customers will now be able to choose between CDMA, GSM, or LTE technologies and network carriers. Further announcements of new carrier agreements for RACO are said to be coming shortly, with one expected in the next few weeks.
“The success of our business model has been predicated on making it easy for our customers to do business, and this agreement really enhances that proposition,” said John Horn, president of RACO Wireless. “We are very happy to be working with Sprint, and we are excited to offer Sprint’s diverse coverage and robust network to our customers through our award-winning Omega Management Suite.”
Speaking to M2M Now in Barcelona, John Horn said, “Our focus is on Team, Tools and Transport. We already have successful network agreements with T-Mobile USA and Everything Everywhere (EE) in Europe. This week we’re announcing service agreements with Sprint in the US and Telefonica for Latin America and Europe.”
Sprint’s CDMA-based service will be made available through the Omega Management Suite portal, providing RACO Wireless customers with the flexibility to select and manage the appropriate technology for their M2M solutions, all with a single login. This offering will enhance RACO’s current US-wide GSM offering, while maintaining the simplicity of device and account management from one portal.
