Protect Australia has been a leader in home security in Australia for the past 25 years. Essence offers cloud-based IoT/M2M connected-living technologies, including professional home security, smart home and smart care solutions.

“We searched for a system that will give our clients outstanding security, ease of use and overall value and decided that WeR@HomeTM ticked all our boxes,” said Graham Russell, owner and general manager, Protect Australia. “The security field is fairly conservative. We were determined to find not only the solutions that are hot now, but something that will lead the field in the coming years, and Essence’s technology is perfect for us for the long haul.”

WeR@HomeTM is a connected-living, smart-home solution that provides security, safety, and home management and can be monitored from anywhere, anytime, on any screen in real time. The end-to-end system, which comes complete with all required hardware and software for the user and service provider, fits any home environment, is easily installed and expanded, and has an intuitive interface that can be mastered in minutes.

Protect Australia quickly and easily integrated Essence’s back-end technology directly into its CRM system, further streamlining its customer service capabilities. Since the customer experience is paramount in home security and home management products, WeR@HomeTM was designed and developed to give a super simple and intuitive customer experience. The system’s do-it-yourself installation combined with remote maintenance and management tools allow Protect Australia to serve more customers cost effectively. WeR@HomeTM recently won the European Consumers Choice Award for 2014, with ease of use contributing the highest score.

“We’re excited to have Protect Australia as our strategic partner,” said Michal Aharonov, vice president, head of sales and services for Essence. “Our partners need the most comprehensive, but simplest solutions to appeal to their customers, and we always maintain open communications with them to ensure both their satisfaction and a continuous collaborative relationship where Essence develops and refines our products in accordance with their needs.”
