ParStream, the IoT analytics company, and PLAT.ONE, the first Enterprise-Grade IoT & M2M application platform, has announced its joint demo at the Internet of Things World Forum, a leading Internet of Things (IoT) conference focused on IoT applications, IoT solutions and the leading companies behind the IoT movement. The Internet of Things World Forum will be held Nov. 25-26, 2014, at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington in London.

The joint demonstration is the first to utilise Fog Computing; specifically demonstrating the real time integration of PLAT.ONE’s IoT platform publishing real time sensor measurements from managed devices with the ParStream database. The ParStream database powers analytics on a Datawatch analytics dashboard to monitor real time variations in sensor metrics and conduct rapid analysis of historical sensor data. The ParStream platform also includes Geo-Distributed Analytics bringing the power of analytics closer to the source of data. Fog computing addresses various applications and services beyond the Cloud including fast mobile applications, geographically distributed applications and large-scale distributed control systems.

ParStream’s Analytics Platform was purpose-built for scale to handle the massive volumes and high velocity of IoT data. The Platform helps companies generate timely, actionable insights from IoT data by providing more innovative and efficient ways to analyze that data – faster, with greater flexibility and closer to the source.

The PLAT.ONE Enterprise-Grade platform is the first to bring distributed computing to the IOT, enabling companies to rapidly develop and deploy highly-scalable and secure applications to connect their remote devices with their people and systems. The platform is highly extensible and based on open standards, allowing it to easily integrate with advanced analytics platforms and providers like ParStream.
