Eurotech wins award as Intel® Technology Provider: Smart City Building Solutions Partner of the Year

Eurotech, has announced it was recognised as a winner of the Intel® Technology Provider’s Smart City Building Solutions Partner of the Year Award at the 2015 Intel® Solutions Summit (ISS) North America.

“The market is maturing and we recognise there is an increased need for IoT solutions that speed time to market and help customers focus on their core competencies,” said Hilary Tomasson, VP, Marketing, Eurotech North America. “Recognition in both smart city IoT applications and innovative software shows how much Eurotech has evolved to meet growing market demand by bringing new solutions to dynamic environments.”

Intel Solutions Summit is one of the most prestigious channel events in North America. This invitation-only conference enables top-tier Intel Technology Providers to connect with other channel partners and Intel executives, and receive updates on the latest technologies, market trends and product innovations. Each year, Intel honors its Platinum partners for excellence in various categories.

“IoT solutions can bring tremendous benefit to applications like smart buildings and Eurotech is addressing this opportunity by enabling remote building monitoring as well as energy and waste management,” said Todd Garrigues, director of North America Partner Marketing, Intel. “For that reason, the Intel® Technology Provider programme recognised Eurotech as our Smart City Building Solutions Partner of the Year.”

Eurotech offers a platform for IoT applications, Everyware Cloud, which can be used across many different industries and its specific device and data management capabilities have proven to be particularly useful in smart city applications.

Eurotech also recently collaborated with Intel to develop an IoT Solutions Blueprint, “Connecting Business with Machines in the Cloud-Based World of IoT,” that defines the value of integrated hardware and software for IoT applications.
